Qualification BE in Mechanical / Automobile engineering

Experience 3 - 8 years in Automobile OEMs

Job Purpose & Role

Mechanical designer will be responsible for complete Engine mounting in vehicle

environment, Auxiliary system integration activities and to oversee the integration

of various systems into the vehicles. As a designer, you will be responsible for 3D

modeling, 2D drawings creation, collaborating with internal and external

stakeholders, and ensuring the generation of mechanical concepts for a mounting

structure, Data management in the system, Data release in the system.

Key Activities &

Expectations

 Strong experience of 3 to 5 years' in Unigraphics NX software

 Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in 2D drawing and 3D Modelling

 Creates 3D models, large assembly and detailing including drawing

conversions

 Good understanding of GD&T and able to apply in drawings

 Requires knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication and welding process

 Knowledge of data management software Windchill & PDM

 Familiar with part release process

 Experience in BOM update & BOM releases

 Experience of releasing supplier drawings

 Good communication skill and able to communicate changes with shop floor

technician

 Experience of working on proto parts and dealing with proto suppliers

 Experience in defense industry will be added advantage
