Database Engineer - PostgreSQL / PL-SQL

Job Purpose :

We are seeking a Lead / Senior Oracle / PostgreSQL Developer with deep expertise in backend database engineering and AWS. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance Oracle / PostgreSQL database systems, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and optimize Oracle / PostgreSQL database solutions.
• Write efficient SQL, PL / SQL, and PL / pgSQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
• Perform data modeling, schema design, and database configuration.
• Develop and manage ETL / data migration processes.
• Optimize queries, indexing, and execution plans for performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues in production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Work with AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, Kinesis, Kafka, etc.).
• Implement monitoring, governance, and database security best practices.
