Network Engineer - Firewall Implementation (Level 2)

We’re Hiring : Network Engineer – Firewall Implementation (Level 2) - Pune (MH) Join our Managed Security Services (MSS) Team and play a key role in implementing, managing, and maintaining client firewalls and switches. This dual-role opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about network security, firewall management, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities :

Deploy, configure, and support client firewalls and network infrastructure

Monitor, triage, and respond to firewall and VPN-related incidents

Collaborate with Network Engineers and SOC teams for effective resolution

Mentor SOC team members on network and firewall operations

Create and maintain documentation, playbooks, and incident use cases

Provide remote support for client firewalls, VPNs, and connectivity issues

Participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call support as required

You’ll also :

Stay current with technical forums, tools, and best practices

Contribute to continuous improvement of SOC processes and scalability

Experience :

Minimum 10 + years of hands-on experience in firewall management, networking, and security technologies

Technical Skills :

Strong knowledge of Fortinet or Cisco firewalls

Experience administering DNS, DHCP, NTP , and other core network services

Proven ability to analyze, triage, and resolve network and firewall-related incidents

Solid troubleshooting experience in technical environments

Excellent analytical , problem-solving , and communication skills

Commitment to providing superior customer service

Preferred Certifications :

(Any of the following or equivalent)

CCENT, CCNA, NSE4+ , or PCNSE

Certifications from Cisco, Fortinet, Microsoft, CompTIA Network+ , or Security+
