Software Engineer - Java

Job description5+ years of software development experience with strong computer science fundamentals. Expertise in the Java ecosystem (Spring, Hibernate, etc.). Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and secure code. Strong understanding of REST API design principles. Deep knowledge of relational databases, transactions, and entity-relationship modeling. Hands-on experience building highly concurrent systems. Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing strategies. Skilled in using profilers and performance tuning techniques.
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for our flagship product.
- Ensure backend systems are secure, reliable, and performant.
- Drive test coverage, automation, and continuous delivery practices within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement RESTful APIs.
- Optimize system performance through profiling, garbage collection tuning, and SQL query optimization.
- Mentor and provide constructive feedback to team members, fostering a culture of growth and best practices.
