Roles & Responsibilities :
- Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) , ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee capitalization, disposal, transfer, impairment, and depreciation of assets in line with accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS / GAAP).
- Conduct periodic physical verification and reconciliation of fixed assets with FAR.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and internal controls for asset management.
- Support statutory, internal, and tax audits by providing required schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.
- Coordinate with procurement, projects, and operations teams to track capitalization of new assets.
- Monitor capital work-in-progress (CWIP) and ensure timely capitalization.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on fixed assets for management and financial reporting.
- Implement process improvements, automation, and best practices in fixed asset accounting.
- Provide insights for budgeting, forecasting, and asset lifecycle management .
Qualifications & Experience :
MBA (Finance) or CA Inter (or equivalent professional qualification).4–5 years of experience in fixed assets accounting, financial reporting, or related finance functions .Strong knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS) related to Property, Plant, and Equipment (PPE).Hands-on experience in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / similar).Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis.Skills Required
