Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of corporate tax laws (Income Tax, GST etc and their compliance)
  • Filing of income tax, TDS and other relevant Returns / Reports required under Income tax.
  • Filing of monthly, annual GST returns
  • Liaising with government authorities and tax consultants to facilitate operations by smooth tax management
  • Ensuring correct reporting of tax charges and assets / liabilities in the company's financial statements
  • Ensuring all direct and indirect compliances on monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual basis.
  • Ensuring upgradation and continuous improvement of reporting processes in order to ensure efficient tax compliances under direct and indirect tax laws
  • Ensuring minimum litigation by timely dispute resolution and up to date completion if assessment, appeals, refunds and submissions
  • Handling Audits for the company and other special assignment given for Audits.
  • Coordinating with the tax consultants on a regular basis

Job Requirements

  • Overall Experience : 3+ years of experience in a Taxation role
  • Industry Experience : Any
  • Educational Qualification : Commerce graduate +
  • Behavioral Skills Required : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, decision making, result oriented, team management and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Skills Required : Strong subject knowledge and understanding of Direct & Indirect Taxation
