Job description

Must Have :

  • JLPT certified. Fluent in reading, writing, and conversing in Japanese
  • Must have 5 to 10 years of IT experience in Application Design, Development, Testing and Maintenance projects
  • Knowledge and hands on experience in Software testing life cycle (STLC) in insurance (Life & P&C) or financial services domains.
  • Experience writing and executing detailed test cases / scripts and clear test documentation.
  • Understanding of Agile / sprint-based QA and distributed team collaboration.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate with Customer SMEs from Business & IT, Onsite and Offshore teams.
  • Actively involve in Application transition and stabilization phases by aligning to Japan (JST) working hours.
  • Ready to work in JST morning hours as required to extend the support for Application transition and stabilization phases of Application Testing projects running under STLC model

Good to have :

  • Hands-on experience with automation and integration testing tools (Selenium, Playwright, SoapUI, Postman, etc.).
  • Familiarity with test data management and synthetic data generation (GenRocket).
  • Basic SQL / database testing (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with CI / CD environments.
