About The Role

We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain cloud-based data pipelines that enable business insights across Gap Inc.'s global operations. This role is hands-on, focused on developing scalable data solutions, supporting analytics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate thrives on solving complex data problems, working with modern cloud platforms, and contributing to a growing data engineering ecosystem.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to integrate data from multiple business applications.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Solution Architects, and business teams to understand and fulfill data requirements.
• Implement best practices in coding, testing, and automation.
• Support data quality, governance, and access control initiatives.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Assist in monitoring pipeline performance and resolving data issues.
• Recommend improvements to data processes and platform capabilities.
