THIS IS A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADER .Work Hours : 03 : 00 PM – 11 : 00 PM IST (Afternoon Shift)Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Adobe Forms Development, ABAP programming, and S / 4HANA integration . The consultant will design, develop, test, and maintain custom programs and enhancements within SAP using ABAP while collaborating with functional teams to deliver scalable and optimized solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesABAP & Forms DevelopmentDesign, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, enhancements (BADI, User Exits), CDS Views, AMDP, and OData servicesDevelop Adobe Forms from scratch and migrate SmartForms / Scripts to Adobe FormsIntegrate Adobe Forms with ABAP programs, workflows, and core business processesImplement dynamic fields, conditional logic, and scripting (JavaScript / FormCalc) in Adobe FormsWork with APIs and Gateway services for Fiori integration and 3rd-party system communicationIntegration & ConfigurationConfigure output management in S / 4HANA (BRF+, Output Types) for form printingIntegrate forms with SAP Output Management Framework (OMF)Support automated PDF generation and email distributionPerformance & QualityOptimize ABAP objects and forms for performance (SQL tuning, large data handling)Conduct unit testing and support SIT / UAT cyclesImplement proper error handling, logging, and troubleshooting for ABAP programs and print solutionsDocumentation & SupportPrepare technical specifications, mapping documents, and user guidesProvide production support for Adobe Forms and ABAP-related issuesCollaborate with functional consultants to gather and refine requirementsAdditional Skills (Good to Have)SAP Output Control Framework (OMF) knowledgeExperience with SAP Adobe Document Services (ADS)Workflow integration and email-triggering expertiseExposure to SAP S / 4HANA migration projects (e.g., SmartForms / Scripts to Adobe)Preferred Qualifications8+ years of experience in SAP BRIM S / 4HANA (On-Prem / Private Cloud) on 1909 / 2020Experience with OpenText e-invoicing and global tax complianceHands-on knowledge of SAP integration tools and best practicesStrong business acumen with understanding of global taxation regulationsPrimary Skills : Adobe Forms Development, BADI, User Exits, OData Services, BRIM S / 4HANASecondary Skills : OpenText-Exstream knowledgeOur large, Fortune client is ranked as one of the best companies to work with, in the world.
