Instructor (Ruby on Rails)

At Le Wagon Bangalore , we’re building the next generation of creators, developers, and innovators through our immersive bootcamps. We’re looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails developer who’s ready to step into the classroom and lead by example.

🧩 About the Role

As a Web Development Instructor , you’ll guide a batch of students through Le Wagon’s world-renowned bootcamp curriculum, blending theory, live demos, and hands-on coaching.

The curriculum already includes everything you need, detailed lecture notes, video walkthroughs, coding challenges, and teaching slides.

Your role is to prepare by reviewing these resources ahead of time , then contextualise and deliver the material in a way that best fits your class, using your own experience and stories to bring the content to life.

Your Day in the Classroom

• 9 : 00 – 10 : 30 AM : Deliver interactive lectures on Ruby, SQL, Rails, JavaScript, and front-end fundamentals.
• 11 : 00 – 4 : 30 PM : Mentor students through coding challenges, debugging issues, explaining concepts, and celebrating “aha!” moments.
• 5 : 00 – 6 : 00 PM : Lead live-coding sessions to review and reinforce the day’s learnings.
• Guide teams during their final 2-week project sprint — from user stories to shipping their MVPs 🚀

You’re someone who :

Bonus : You know your way around tools like VS Code, GitHub, Slack, and Trello — and you’re comfortable presenting or recording screencasts for learners.
