The real estate division manages a portfolio of ₹600–800 crores , comprising residential and commercial developments. We are looking for a high-calibre Finance Controller to drive financial governance for this growing portfolio.
Role Overview
The Finance Controller will oversee end-to-end financial operations for the real estate division, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial insight. The role includes managing accounting processes, portfolio-level financial planning, and delivering board-level presentations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Accounting
- Lead complete accounting operations, including project accounting, revenue recognition, billing, and general ledger management.
- Ensure compliance with Ind AS, GST, Income Tax, RERA, FEMA, and other regulatory norms.
- Manage monthly / quarterly / annual financial closing and MIS reporting.
- Oversee cash flow planning, fund flow management, and project-wise cost monitoring.
Financial Planning, Analysis & Reporting
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across a ₹600–800 crore real estate portfolio .Prepare high-quality financial dashboards and board-level presentations for decision-making.Conduct profitability analysis, feasibility studies, and financial modelling for new projects.Support leadership on pricing, investments, funding strategy, and risk evaluation.Governance, Audit & Controls
Strengthen internal controls and implement SOPs across finance functions.Liaise with statutory and internal auditors to ensure timely audits and compliance.Ensure accuracy, transparency, and documentation across all financial operations.Stakeholder & Leadership Collaboration
Work closely with sales, procurement, legal, and project teams to streamline financial operations.Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management and board members.Serve as a strategic finance partner for expansion and new investments.Required Skills & Competencies
Qualified CA Final with 5–10 years of experience in real estate / construction / infrastructure finance.Strong expertise in accounting processes, project costing, and regulatory compliance.Must have experience handling large portfolio management (₹600–800 crores) .Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience with board-level interactions .Proficiency in ERP systems, MIS tools, and advanced Excel / PowerPoint.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership ability.
