Trino / PrestoDB Developer at BairesDev

We are seeking a Trino / PrestoDB Developer with expertise in distributed query engines, SQL federation, connector architecture, and query optimization technologies. The technology stack includes popular open source query engines - Trino, PrestoDB, Apache Hive, Impala, and related big data technologies. Thus, there is ample scope for collaboration and contribution to open source. The ideal candidate will develop and optimize high-performance distributed query systems, contribute to open source projects, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver innovative data processing solutions.

What You'll Do :

• Contribute actively to Trino / PrestoDB and related open source projects.
• Develop and optimize distributed query engines for high-performance data processing.
• Implement SQL federation solutions to enable cross-platform data querying.
• Build and enhance connector architectures for diverse data sources.
• Optimize query performance through advanced query optimization techniques.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on system integration and deployment.
