Position Overview :
The Back-End Developer is responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power web and mobile applications. The role requires strong programming expertise, database management, and an understanding of application architecture to ensure high performance, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain
server-side applications , APIs, and microservices.
Design and implement
database schemas, queries, and data models
(SQL or NoSQL).
Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic to deliver a seamless user experience.
Write
clean, reusable, and efficient code
following best practices.
Ensure
application performance, security, and scalability .
Collaborate with
front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams
to deliver complete solutions.
Manage and maintain
RESTful APIs ,
GraphQL APIs , or other service integrations.
Debug, test, and optimize application performance.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and participate in system architecture discussions.
Implement and maintain
CI / CD pipelines
and participate in
code reviews .
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field .
Proficiency in one or more
server-side languages
such as
Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby, PHP, or .NET .
Strong experience with
databases
(MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis).
Familiarity with
API design, RESTful services, and authentication mechanisms
(OAuth, JWT).
Experience with
version control systems
(e.g., Git / GitHub / GitLab).
Understanding of
data structures, algorithms, and design patterns .
Knowledge of
containerization and orchestration
(Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with
cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Familiarity with
microservices architecture
and
serverless computing .
Understanding of
DevOps practices
and CI / CD automation.
Experience with
API documentation tools
(Swagger / OpenAPI).
Knowledge of
unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) .
