Job description

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Product Owner to lead and govern one or more Master Data Management (MDM) / IT platforms within the Organization. This role is instrumental in ensuring that MDM platforms are secure, scalable, cost-efficient, and aligned with evolving business needs.

The Product Owner will be responsible for the platform’s end-to-end lifecycle, from roadmap development and stakeholder engagement to compliance, continuous improvement, and financial stewardship.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Define, maintain, and communicate the platform roadmap.
  • Align platform capabilities with long-term business strategy and enterprise architecture.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends relevant to MDM platforms.

2. Operational Excellence

  • Ensure platform performance, scalability, availability, and security.
  • Oversee operational processes including incident, change, and release management.
  • Maintain comprehensive platform documentation and a robust knowledge base.

    • 3. Financial Stewardship

  • Manage platform budget and drive cost optimization initiatives.
  • Monitor licensing, resource usage, and ensure value realization.
  • Support vendor contract management and renewals.

    • 4. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for platform-related matters.
  • Facilitate collaboration across IT, business units, and vendors.
  • Engage with potential new internal customers / domains to understand and plan for their platform needs.

    • 5. Governance & Compliance

  • Define and enforce platform-specific policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor audit readiness and risk management metrics.

    • 6. Continuous Improvement

  • Track platform performance metrics and collect user feedback.
  • Drive enhancements, innovation, and modernization initiatives to meet evolving business demands.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.

    • 7. Platform Lifecycle Management

  • Oversee platform onboarding, upgrades, and decommissioning.
  • Ensure platform scalability, sustainability, and alignment with IT standards.
