Overview
We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) specializing in Microsoft Security technologies to support our content development teams in creating high-quality technical training material. This includes presentations, lab manuals, hands-on exercises, and certification-aligned deliverables. You’ll bridge the gap between evolving Microsoft security solutions and our instructional content team.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate certification objectives (SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, SC-900) and customer briefs into detailed technical scopes
- Guide content developers on technical architecture, use cases, and security best practices
- Review and validate content for technical accuracy, alignment with Microsoft Learn, and real-world applicability
- Design realistic lab scenarios with Defender, Purview, Entra ID, Sentinel, and compliance toolsets
- Stay current with Microsoft’s evolving security stack and roadmap (Defender XDR, Purview, etc.)
- Collaborate with clients and internal QA teams to refine and finalize training deliverables
Required Skills
Hands-on experience with :Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, and CloudMicrosoft Purview (Information Protection, DLP, Compliance)Microsoft SentinelMinimum 7 years in cloud security architecture, SOC, or compliance rolesStrong grasp of Zero Trust, SIEM / SOAR, identity governance, and regulatory frameworksExcellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey security concepts clearlyFamiliarity with Microsoft Learn, SC-series certifications, and security training audiencesGood-to-Have
SC-200, SC-300, SC-400 certifications (preferred, not mandatory)Experience reviewing or creating Microsoft certification contentPowerShell and KQL proficiency
