DVP / VP Sales - Personal Loans
A leading private bank is seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to lead our Personal Loans sales division for the
Mumbai and Pune region . This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving business growth, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Strategy :
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed personal loan targets for the Mumbai and Pune market. This includes identifying new business opportunities, expanding market share, and creating a robust sales pipeline.
Team Leadership & Management :
Lead, mentor, and motivate a large team of sales professionals. You will be responsible for hiring, training, and performance management to build a skilled and efficient sales force.
Channel Management :
Oversee and optimize various sales channels, including branch banking, direct sales agents, and digital platforms, to maximize personal loan disbursements.
Stakeholder Collaboration :
Work closely with cross-functional teams such as credit, operations, and product to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process and resolve any bottlenecks.
Market Analysis :
Keep a pulse on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Compliance & Risk :
Ensure all sales activities and processes adhere to the bank's internal policies and regulatory guidelines, maintaining a strong focus on ethical sales practices and risk management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience :
10-15 years of experience in retail banking, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior sales leadership role, specifically in personal loans or other unsecured lending products.
Expertise :
Deep understanding of the personal loans business, including product features, credit policies, and market dynamics in the Mumbai and Pune region.
Leadership Skills :
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing large sales teams to achieve ambitious targets.
Education :
A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or a postgraduate degree in Finance or Marketing is preferred.
Soft Skills :
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. A strong analytical mindset and the ability to make data-driven decisions are crucial.
Compensation
Salary :
Up to 30 Lakhs per annum, depending on experience and current compensation.
