Role Objective
To manage and optimize day-to-day Amazon marketplace operations including product
listings, catalog upkeep, order flow, promotions, and basic reporting. The role ensures
smooth execution of Amazon business processes while supporting performance marketing
and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Amazon Catalog & Listing Management
Upload and update product listings with accurate titles, descriptions, images, and
attributes.
Monitor listing suppressions, errors, or discrepancies and resolve promptly.
Ensure all product content follows brand guidelines and Amazon compliance.
Order & Inventory Management
Track daily orders, cancellations, and returns on Amazon.
Coordinate with warehouse / logistics teams for smooth dispatch and fulfillment.
Monitor inventory levels and raise alerts for replenishment.
Promotion & Campaign Setup
Assist in setting up deals, coupons, and discounts on Amazon.
Coordinate with the marketing team for product visibility campaigns.
Ensure promotions are correctly applied and visible.
Performance Monitoring
Track key metrics like Buy Box %, sales rank, and reviews.
Support in generating weekly / monthly sales reports from Amazon Seller Central.
Share insights on top-selling products and low-performing SKUs.
Compliance & Customer Experience
Monitor ratings, reviews, and customer queries.
Coordinate with customer support for escalations or issue resolution.
Ensure compliance with BIS certifications, Amazon policies, and category rules.
KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
Accuracy & uptime of listings (error-free catalog).
% orders dispatched on time.
Buy Box win % and ASIN health score.
Promotion execution accuracy.
Improvement in product ratings / reviews.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central.
Basic Excel / Google Sheets reporting skills.
Attention to detail in catalog and data entry.
Ability to coordinate across internal teams (warehouse, marketing, customer support).
Problem-solving and escalation handling.
Qualifications
Graduate (Commerce, Marketing, or related field preferred).
1–2 years of experience in e-commerce operations (Amazon experience a must).
Freshers with strong Amazon Seller Central internship / project experience may apply.
