We're hiring our first Mechanical Engineer to own systems integration across chamber design, precision motion, enclosure development, safety interlocks, and scaling mechanical builds.

Your mission

Own the mechanical architecture - compact vacuum chamber, precise motion stage, serviceable enclosure, and safety interlocks - that makes the instrument fast from sample-load to image. Quiet and reliable on the bench and in the field.

What you'll do

• Design for speed, stability, and serviceability : quick specimen exchange, accurate and repeatable motion, clean routing, easy field-replaceable swaps.
• Develop the assembly and test playbook - fixtures, torque specs, metrology checks - and drive it from prototype to pilot builds.
• Qualify and scale India-based and global suppliers, partnering closely to improve yield and finish quality.
• Lead system-level integration, balancing optics, electronics, thermal, acoustic, and safety needs.
