Visual Content Creator

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Scientific Graphic Designer, you will have the opportunity to combine your scientific expertise with creative design skills to produce high-quality visual content.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate or PhD degree in a STEM field and 3-5 years of experience in scientific graphic designing. Advanced skills in Adobe Design Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) are required, with experience in creating 3D designs in Blender being an added advantage.

Your key responsibilities will include developing graphical abstracts, reading and comprehending scientific manuscripts, and generating storyboards outlining the visual narrative. You will also be responsible for reviewing peers' outputs to ensure they meet client expectations.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the scientific publishing landscape and the ability to create visually impactful and scientifically accurate designs.

Responsibilities :

• Develop graphical abstracts representing the essence of a scientific study
• Read and comprehend scientific manuscripts to extract key visual elements and concepts
• Develop storyboards outlining the visual narrative, ensuring alignment with scientific content and client objectives
• Generate rough sketches to illustrate initial visual concepts, collaborating with researchers, writers, and clients to refine and finalize the visual representation
• Review peers' outputs to ensure they meet client expectations
