Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Manager to lead the design, implementation, and delivery of complex Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership abilities to manage enterprise-scale Salesforce programs. You will oversee development teams, ensure solution quality, and act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities :
Technical Leadership :
- Lead the end-to-end technical design and implementation of Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, Health, Marketing, and Experience Clouds.
- Drive Salesforce configurations and Force.com development (Lightning, Apex, Visualforce).
- Guide teams in applying Salesforce best practices, including Apex design patterns, asynchronous operations, governor limits, and API integrations.
- Define and enforce CI / CD pipelines, automated testing, version control (Git), and DevOps best practices.
- Establish and maintain sandbox strategy, user / license management, and security compliance.
- Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of Salesforce solutions.
Project & Delivery Management :
Oversee Agile ceremonies (PI Planning, Daily Standups, Sprints, Demos, Retrospectives).Manage multiple Salesforce projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and architects to gather and refine requirements.Monitor project risks, dependencies, and budgets while ensuring alignment with business goals.Team & Stakeholder Management :
Mentor and coach Salesforce developers, admins, and junior managers.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including integration, security, and enterprise architects.Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and regular updates.Requirements :
12 16 years of overall IT experience, with at least 68 years in Salesforce project delivery and technical leadership.Proven experience managing large Salesforce implementations across multiple clouds.Strong expertise in :a. Apex, Lightning (LWC, Aura), Visualforce
b. Integration (REST / SOAP APIs, middleware tools)
c. Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, or similar)
CI / CD pipelines, Git, DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Jenkins)Hands-on experience with security models, data management, and sandbox strategy.Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience mentoring teams.Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.Salesforce certifications (Application Architect, System Architect, Technical Architect, or Cloud-specific) are highly desirable.Preferred Qualifications :
Prior experience working in a consulting environment or with global clients.Exposure to enterprise-scale integration landscapes (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MuleSoft).Familiarity with AI, Einstein Analytics, and industry-specific Salesforce solutions (e.g., Financial Services, Healthcare).(ref : hirist.tech)
