The Role

Are you a technical leader who thrives at the intersection of marketing strategy and robust engineering? We are seeking a MarTech Lead to be the crucial bridge between our development teams and our clients.

This pivotal role requires an individual with a deep, authoritative technical mind—someone who can truly understand complex requirements, assess platform risks, and architect scalable, high-performing MarTech solutions. Simultaneously, you will be a masterful communicator, translating these technical concepts into clear, compelling, and commercially sound insights for non-technical stakeholders and client executives.

You will need hands on experience in working for a development or tech team for a digital or creative agency to succeed in this role.

You will be responsible for building, mentoring, and scaling our development capability across key marketing technology platforms, including WordPress and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). A core function of this leadership role is to implement best-practice systems and agile processes to ensure our engineering output is efficient, compliant, and world-class.

Key Responsibilities

• Technology & Quality Assurance : Oversee and assure the quality, performance, and strategic alignment of the technology team's output across all client engagements.
• Strategic Scoping & Documentation : Lead the scoping of new MarTech requirements, translating client business needs and marketing strategies into detailed, accurate technical specifications and documentation.
• Workflow Optimization & Governance : Continuously improve development workflows, systems, and delivery processes (DevOps, QA, CI / CD) to enhance team productivity and velocity.
• Team Development & Recruitment : Drive the ongoing professional development, mentoring, and recruitment of the engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.
• Innovation & Future-Proofing : Stay ahead of the curve on the latest trends in development, Generative AI, and emerging marketing technology, incorporating strategic insights into our service offerings and roadmaps.
