Job description

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) Developer with at least 6+ years of ServiceNow experience, including 2-3 years in SecOps implementation and support.

You will design, develop, and deploy Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, Threat Intelligence, and Security Orchestration solutions within the ServiceNow platform, integrating with leading security tools to enhance organizational security posture.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead design and implementation of SecOps modules :
  • Security Incident Response (SIR)
  • Vulnerability Response (VR)
  • Threat Intelligence (TI)
  • Security Case Management
  • Integrate ServiceNow SecOps with tools like Splunk, Qualys, Tenable, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto.
  • Develop custom applications, workflows, and automations using Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, REST / SOAP APIs.
  • Collaborate with InfoSec teams to gather requirements and translate into technical solutions.
  • Drive automation of security processes using SOAR capabilities.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs for security operations.
  • Ensure platform stability, governance compliance, and performance optimization.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and best practice guidance to junior members.
  • Support UAT, go-live, and post-production stabilization.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 6+ years ServiceNow experience, 4+ years in SecOps.
  • Strong implementation experience in SIR and VR modules.
  • Proven integrations with external security tools and threat feeds.
  • Solid understanding of security frameworks, incident handling, and vulnerability lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, REST / SOAP, JSON / XML.
  • Familiarity with CMDB, ITOM, GRC / IRM modules (preferred).
  • Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

    • Preferred Certifications :

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Security Incident Response
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Vulnerability Response
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
  • Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus

    • Education : Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
