Resident Medical Officer (RMO)
We are hiring a hands-on MBBS Resident Medical Officer to join an on-site clinical team in Muzaffarnagar. The ideal candidate will manage inpatient care, emergency presentations, and routine medical duties, ensuring high standards of clinical governance, documentation, and patient safety during assigned shifts.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide first‑line assessment, stabilization and treatment for emergency and inpatient cases during assigned shifts (including night duties and rostered weekends).
- Perform common clinical procedures : IV cannulation, airway support, wound suturing and basic life‑saving interventions as indicated.
- Interpret ECGs, order and act on routine investigations, and escalate to senior physicians when required.
- Manage admissions, handovers, discharge planning and ensure accurate clinical documentation in patient records.
- Coordinate with nursing staff, laboratory and radiology to ensure timely diagnostics and treatment delivery.
- Maintain infection control practices, medication safety, and participate in morbidity review and clinical audits.
Skills & Qualifications
Must‑Have
MBBS degree from a recognised medical collegeValid registration with the State Medical Council / NMC (must hold current registration)Prior clinical experience in hospital settings with exposure to emergency / ward dutiesWillingness to work on-site in Muzaffarnagar with shift and night duty availabilityProven competency in acute care procedures and basic emergency interventionsFluency in Hindi and functional English for clinical documentation and patient communicationPreferred
Postgraduate diploma or in-service training in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine or Family MedicineExperience with outpatient clinics, inpatient RMO responsibilities and hospital protocolsFamiliarity with electronic medical records (EMR) or hospital information systemsBenefits & Culture Highlights
