Owning and creating HTML code for all digital communications and ensure the code is accurate based on design requirements and approvals for the engineering team to complete the journey build of the campaignsWorking within in design tools for design build and HTML code (ie Figma, RPI and Litmus)Design visually beautiful and engaging emails that will be sent out to millions of customers, with goal of improving customer engagement metrics like registration, containment, engagement within the digital spacePartner collaboratively with engagement strategists, business owners and content strategists to develop the most effective design that aligns with the overarching requirements and digital experienceReview design components with design system team, branding partners, accessibility team, and web / mobile product to ensure alignment across design and brand guidelines as we'll as ensuring a holistic design approach within the member journeyWork closely with the campaign manager and engineering teams to ensure all communications are being built in a reusable and client agnostic manor for efficiencies end effectivenessOwning own deliverable dates across work that is aligned to design and HTML to meet project timelines and expectationsRequired Education
- bachelors degree in design or similar field of studyFluent in HTML and CSS for emails that may use older code like tables and inline styles
- Understanding of email design constraints in HTML / CSS, inline styles, responsive layouts, and different email clients
- Experience in building email templates and testing across multiple email clients with Litmus
- Strong visual design skills with ability to do high quality digital illustration
- Understanding of best practices in email design, communications, and what drives engagement and conversions
- Creating emails with components for both design and code is a plus
- Expertise in Figma and Adobe Illustrator
- Experience in creating and managing larger scale email campaigns
- Direct-to-customer marketing experience is required
- A self-start with strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
- Minimum 3-5 years in design and / or HTML experience
- Knowledge of HTML and data driven dynamic creative
- Knowledge of design tools like Figma and Adobe Illustrator
- Knowledge of Litmus, Marigold / Cheetah and Redpoint
- Knowledge of agile tools like JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, Wrike, etc Experience in Marigold (Cheetah email), Redpoint (RPI), Salesforce Marketing Cloud and / or Litmus is a plus.
