Role Title : Senior Platform Engineer

Position Summary :

As a Platform Engineer within the Platform Design and Build team, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining the foundational infrastructure that supports our hybrid cloud environment. This role is centered on Azure, Terraform, and Kubernetes, with a strong emphasis on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), platform scalability, and secure-by-default design. You will work closely with cloud architects, security, and application teams to ensure the platform aligns with the Azure Well-Architected Framework and supports enterprise-wide application delivery. Your work will enable consistent, automated provisioning of infrastructure and services, while ensuring compliance with governance and security standards. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure core services, Kubernetes operations (AKS), and Terraform provisioning patterns. You will contribute to reusable IaC modules, enforce platform standards, and support the evolution of our hybrid cloud strategy.

• Completes backlog items daily. These activities include monitoring the backlog, working on backlog items, responding to incident tickets received from the service desk, processing change requests, troubleshooting technical issues, and escalating as needed.
• Provides support for business and technology initiatives that require assistance from automation teams.
• Maintains clear, concise, and accurate documentation for processes and configurations. Ensure documentation is kept current and in the proper shared, accessible location.
• Participate in 24 / 7 on-call rotation.
