We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Next.js Developer to lead our development team, mentor junior developers, and ensure the successful execution of our projects. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and maintenance of web applications using Next.js. Architect and design scalable, performant, and secure web applications. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, guiding them in best practices and coding standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables. Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and incorporate them into development processes when appropriate. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs. Required Skills and Qualifications Experience : Minimum 8 years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on Next.js. Technical Skills : o Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and the Next.js framework. o Strong understanding of React.js and its core principles. o Experience with server-side rendering and static site generation. o Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel). o Knowledge of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX). o Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs. o Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. o Knowledge of web security practices and performance optimization techniques. Soft Skills : o Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. o Strong leadership and mentorship skills. o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. o Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and departments. o Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI / CD pipelines). Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies. Experience in e-commerce, SaaS, or related industries.
