Manager - Presales

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Presales Manager to join our team and drive the technical sales process by partnering closely with clients, sales, and product teams. The successful candidate will act as the key technical advisor and solution architect during the presales phase, ensuring that our offerings align with client needs and business objectives. This role requires deep expertise in system integration, networking, cloud, security, and enterprise IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Requirement Analysis

  • Partner with clients to understand their business challenges, technical requirements, and strategic objectives.
  • Translate client needs into technical specifications and solution blueprints.
  • Conduct detailed needs assessments and gap analyses to propose best-fit solutions.

Solution Design & Architecture

  • Develop customized, scalable, and cost-effective IT solutions spanning networking, servers, storage, cloud platforms (public / private / hybrid), cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
  • Design end-to-end system integration architectures that meet both technical and business goals.
  • Work closely with OEM vendors and partners to leverage the latest technologies and products.
  • Proposals & Documentation

  • Prepare detailed and compelling solution proposals, technical documentation, RFP / RFI responses, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Ensure all documents comply with organizational standards and address client-specific requirements.
  • Demonstrations & Proof of Concept (PoC)

  • Plan and deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and PoCs to showcase the solutions value proposition and effectiveness.
  • Address technical queries and objections confidently during client interactions and sales presentations.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Collaborate with sales teams to support bid defense, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations with technical expertise.
  • Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and operations teams to stay aligned on product capabilities and roadmap.
  • Technical Validation & Market Intelligence

  • Validate the feasibility, scalability, security, and performance of proposed solutions.
  • Keep abreast of emerging trends, competitive technologies, and industry best practices to ensure proposals are innovative and market-leading.
  • Leadership & Mentorship

  • Guide and mentor junior presales and technical consultants to build a strong, knowledgeable team.
  • Provide feedback to product teams based on client interactions and market requirements.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of presales, solution consulting, or system integration experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, networking, or cybersecurity domains.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering successful enterprise IT solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, server / storage architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and security technologies.
  • Experience working with OEMs such as Cisco, Dell EMC, VMware, Microsoft, Palo Alto, or similar vendors.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
