Job descriptionHandle complete accounting operations including bookkeeping, reconciliations, month-end closing, and year-end financials. Ensure accuracy of ledgers and finalization of accounts. Manage fee collections, payments, reconciliations, and reporting. Maintain accurate records of student / parent fee receipts (school experience preferred). Process and track vendor payments. Maintain vendor records, reconciliations, and ensure timely disbursal. Manage daily finance operations including cash flow, bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and financial controls. Ensure compliance with relevant financial processes and audit requirements. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review. Support internal and external audits. Maintain transparent, accurate, audit-ready documentation. Collaborate with the Head of School, administration, HR, finance head office, auditors, and vendors. Present financial data in a clear and structured manner. Recommend and implement improvements in finance processes, reporting systems, and controls. Strong understanding of accounting principles and full finance cycle. Experience with account finalization, fee management, vendor payments, and financial reporting. Prior experience in a school / institutional environment is preferred. Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong analytical skills. High integrity, transparency, and confidentiality in handling financial data. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple finance activities simultaneously. Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and MS Excel
Position Title : Accounts Manager
Location : Gurgaon / Pune
Experience Required : Minimum 7–8 years in finance & accounts roles with complete end-to-end finance exposure.
Communication Requirement :
- Strong communication skills required to interact with an expatriate.
- For the Gurgaon role, moderately above-average communication is acceptable.
- For the Pune role, strong communication is preferred.
