Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager Data Engineer (Azure) Agentic AI

In this role youll be part of Genpacts transformation under GenpactNext as we lead the shift to Agentic AI Solutionsdomain-specific autonomous systems that redefine how we deliver value to clients. Youll help drive the adoption of innovations like the Genpact AP Suite in finance and accounting with more Agentic AI products set to expand across service lines.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF) Synapse Pipelines and Databricks / Spark to support large-scale data processing.

Support the implementation of data lake and warehouse solutions on Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) ensuring performance and reliability.

Assist in data migration and integration efforts from legacy or on-premise systems to modern Azure data platforms.

Implement and maintain data governance quality and security controls leveraging Microsoft Purview Azure AD and Key Vault.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics product and engineering to deliver real-time data insights and enable AI-driven outcomes.

Contribute to DevOps automation and CI / CD pipelines in Azure DevOps ensuring efficient deployment and monitoring of data applications.

Participate in code reviews testing and performance tuning to ensure data accuracy scalability and maintainability.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

Hands-on experience in designing and developing data pipelines using ADF Synapse or similar Azure-based ETL frameworks.

Working knowledge of data warehousing lakehouse and streaming analytics using Synapse ADLS or Event Hubs / Stream Analytics.

Proficiency in Python SQL and Spark for data transformation and automation.

Familiarity with data governance quality and lineage tools preferably Microsoft Purview.

Understanding of data security access control and compliance within Azure environments.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Science Electronics or related field.

Microsoft Certified : Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent cloud certification.

Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills with a proactive approach to learning and delivering in a fast-paced environment.
