We’re supporting a fast-growing digital banking solutions provider that’s scaling critical infrastructure across multiple regions. They’re hiring a Systems Monitoring Specialist (Contract) to join their 24 / 7 operations team and keep business-critical platforms running smoothly.

This is a focused monitoring role, you’ll be on the front line watching alerts, dashboards, and notifications in real time. Your job is to spot issues early, escalate them fast, and make sure nothing gets missed. It’s not about troubleshooting, it’s about vigilance, accuracy, and making sure the right teams are informed before a warning becomes a problem.

What You’ll Be Doing :

Monitoring system alerts and dashboards continuously during your shift.

Identifying and differentiating between warnings and critical issues.

Escalating alerts promptly to technical or operations teams.

Logging incidents accurately in the ticketing system.

Handing over ongoing issues clearly to the next shift.

Following established monitoring and escalation procedures without deviation.

What They’re Looking For :

Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused during monitoring periods.

Basic understanding of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.

Good communication skills for clear and concise escalation.

Willingness to work in a 24 / 7 rotating shift pattern (including nights, weekends, holidays).

Nice to Have (but not essential) :

Experience in a monitoring, NOC, or helpdesk environment.

Familiarity with tools like Zabbix, Grafana, Nagios, Splunk, or similar.

Exposure to ticketing systems (e.g. Jira).
