Job Description
Create methods of procedure (Keystroke MOPs) for Change controls to do firmware upgrades on Switches, Routers, and firewalls.
Execute MOPs to do firmware upgrades on Switches, Routers, and firewalls.
Create methods of procedure (Keystroke MOPs) for Change controls to perform operating system upgrades on Windows and Linux Servers and Virtual Machines.
Execute MOP to do Operating system upgrades for Windows and Linux Servers and Virtual Machines.
Add and remove devices from the Monitoring tools based on SNMPv3.
Jump to troubleshooting calls to review ongoing issues associated with networking gear and Communication links.
Plans, researches, evaluates, designs, and develops network systems by applying engineering, hardware, and software design theories and principles to build a compatible system infrastructure that is aligned with organizational strategies.
Designs, analyzes, plans, and modifies network components supporting customer communication implementation activities.
Develops and evaluates network performance criteria and measurement methods.
Prepares the analysis of the short-term or long-term capacity needs for switching, routing, transmission, and signaling.
Conducts network architecture designs
Creates Accurate Documentation of existing networks.
Develops alternative routing scenarios and changes in the required sequence of network activities.
Additional Qualified Skills :
Experience Working with New Generation Firewalls
Experience Working with Windows Server 2022
Experience working with Ubuntu Server, Linux-based servers, and Virtualization environments (Microsoft Hyper-V, Linux KVM, etc.).
2 Years of experience managing and supporting Networking gear
2 Years of experience managing and supporting Servers based on Windows Server and Linux server.
Experience working with Network troubleshooting tools
Experience working with ServiceNow.
