About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong expertise in Indirect Taxation (GST) to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in GST compliance, audit, and advisory, along with the ability to independently manage client deliverables and coordinate with tax authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and Filing of GST Returns – Ensure accurate and timely filing of all statutory GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 9, 9C, etc.) in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Monthly Review of Transactions – Conduct detailed verification of accounting records, ledgers, and transactions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and identification of discrepancies.
• Reconciliations – Perform GST reconciliations between books, GSTR-2A / 2B, and returns, identifying mismatches and ensuring resolution.
• Drafting Replies for Notices, Assessments, and Appeals – Prepare well-reasoned and legally sound submissions for departmental notices, assessments, and appellate proceedings.
• Representation before Tax Authorities – Represent clients or the firm before GST officers and other authorities during hearings, audits, and appeals.
• Advisory on Tax Planning and Compliance – Provide guidance on GST implications, compliance strategy, and updates on legislative changes.
• Support in Audit and Review – Assist in GST audits and reviews, preparing necessary documentation, working papers, and audit trails.
• Liaison and Coordination – Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure seamless tax compliance and communication.
• Training and Knowledge Sharing – Stay updated on recent amendments, case laws, and circulars;

conduct internal discussions or briefings where necessary.
