Job descriptionHands-on experience working in-person with children and adolescents in developmental, clinical, or school settings. Strong understanding of child development, behavior regulation, and family dynamics . Compassionate, patient, and able to engage children through play and communication. Minimum Master’s degree in Psychology (Clinical, Counselling, or Child Psychology preferred). Open to learning, growth, and multidisciplinary collaboration . Passionate about working with children and making a meaningful impact in their developmental journey.
Role of Developmental Psychologist
Primary Job Profile :
The developmental psychologist will work closely with children having Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDDs) to support their overall developmental progress.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assess and enhance social, communication, and language skills through structured and play-based interventions.
- Design and implement individualized developmental programs to address milestone delays.
- Conduct parent training sessions to help caregivers understand and support their child’s needs.
- Use play as a therapeutic medium to promote emotional, cognitive, and behavioral development.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (special educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, etc.) for holistic intervention.
