Position : Automation QA Engineer

Education : Any Bachelore Degree

Experience : 3 to 6 years as a QA Engineer

Joining Location : Bangalore

Join our agile QA team as a QA Engineer and play a key role in ensuring high-quality delivery across projects. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate, test, and automate quality checks across multiple layers — functional, integration, system, and regression.

About the Role

As a QA team member, you’ll be responsible for :

  • Designing and executing test cases for various quality aspects of the project.
  • Performing functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
  • Automating API tests using Postman and contributing to continuous quality improvements.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders and development teams to meet high-quality standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Requirements Management

  • Elicit, document and analyze requirements.
  • Seek clarifications and ensure alignment with client expectations.

    • Test Case Design

  • Design comprehensive and critical test cases for applications and APIs.
  • Conduct peer reviews and test validations using different input combinations.

    • Test Strategy & Execution

  • Execute automated API tests using Postman and scripting for assertions.

    • Technical Expertise

  • Worked hands-on with tools like Postman
  • Write and execute medium-to-complex SQL queries for data verification.
  • Develop and troubleshoot Postman API automation scripts using JavaScript
  • Explore and implement solutions for performance, UI, automation, and security testing.

    • Technical Skills

    Must Have :

  • Software Testing Concepts
  • API Testing & Automation (Postman)
  • Database Testing / SQL Queries
  • Must have basic JavaScript programming knowledge
  • Performance Testing (e.g., JMeter)
  • Security Testing
  • Strong Communication Skills

    • Good to Have :

  • Testing Certifications (ISTQB, etc.)
  • Project / People Management Experience

    • Soft Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical & problem-solving abilities
