🔹 Job Opportunity – Data Engineer | Azure + Databricks 🔹

Location : Bangalore (Whitefield) | Hybrid (3 days office / week)

Experience : 6+ years

Notice Period : Immediate to 2 weeks – only apply if you can join early

About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team, working on end-to-end data engineering and data science use cases . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python or Scala, Spark (Databricks), and SQL , building scalable and efficient data pipelines on Azure .

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL / ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Spark .
  • Develop & optimize data workflows with SQL + Python / Scala for large-scale processing & transformation.
  • Implement performance tuning & optimization strategies for pipelines and Spark jobs.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to support feature engineering, model deployment, and end-to-end workflows .
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand requirements & deliver high-quality solutions .
  • Ensure data quality & integrity with validation, monitoring, and error-handling.
  • Work with structured & unstructured data using Delta Lake, Parquet, and Big Data ecosystems .

Required Skills :

  • Azure Data Platform expertise (Data Factory, Databricks, ADLS, Blob Storage).
  • Strong SQL and Python or Scala for data manipulation.
  • Proven experience with ETL / ELT pipelines, transformations & orchestration .
  • Familiarity with Big Data tech (Spark, Delta Lake, Parquet).
  • Strong background in pipeline optimization & performance tuning .
  • Hands-on with feature engineering & model deployment .
  • Knowledge of CI / CD practices in data engineering.
  • Excellent problem-solving & troubleshooting skills with focus on data validation & quality.

    • Nice to Have :

  • Awareness of data governance, compliance & security in hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks & best practices .
