Legal Compliance Manager

Job descriptionBoard & Shareholder Meetings : Organize and manage board meetings and AGMs, prepare agendas, take minutes, and ensure decisions are communicated and implemented. Legal & Regulatory Compliance : Monitor changes in legislation, advise the Board, and ensure timely filings (annual returns, statutory registers). Company Administration : Maintain statutory books and records, handle share transfers, and manage secretarial documentation. Risk Management : Identify potential risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies. Financial Reporting Support : Assist in preparing accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with legal standards. Liaison : Act as a point of contact between the company, regulators, and stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Company Secretary , Law , or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of corporate governance , company law , and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with compliance software / tools. Membership with Institute of Company Secretaries (ICSI) or equivalent professional body.
