Role Overview
- We are looking for a Sales Engineer to drive growth in the India region. This role combines technical expertise with customer engagement to strengthen relationships, expand market opportunities, and ensure the success of our innovative product solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow the company’s market presence in the India region.Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities.Introduce and promote company’s product portfolio, providing both pre-sales and after-sales technical support.Gather customer needs and challenges, and communicate with R&D teams to refine solutions.Act as a bridge between customers, sales, and R&D to resolve key issues and achieve sales targets.Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.For R&D / Technical Support background : at least 2 years of R&D experience.For Sales background : at least 3 years of frontline sales experience.Strong knowledge or hands-on experience in surfactants industries especially in Home & Personal care with additional market knowledge in Agrochemical, Textiles & Coatings, understanding Oil Field Chemicals market will be extraStrong relationship with MNCs & Indie customersSolid technical foundation and familiarity with process technologies.Strong communication and relationship-building skills.Fluent in English (spoken and written).Sales Engineer- Concrete Additives
Main Purpose of Job:
The Sales Engineer supports the Direct report in developing and executing sales, marketing, and operational strategies to drive business growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability in the Concrete Additives segment. The role contributes directly to the division’s revenue generation, operational efficiency, and profit and loss (P&L) performance.Key Responsibilities:
Sales, Business Development & Market StrategyIdentify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the Concrete Additives market.Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, including ready-mix producers, precast producers, contractors, and consultants.Provide technical and commercial support, including product recommendations, data sheets, quotations, samples, and on-site demonstrations.Conduct market and competitor research to identify emerging trends, pricing structures, and service offerings, supporting the development of effective sales strategies.Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to revenue and profitability goals.Operational & Financial ManagementAssist the Direct report in managing daily sales operations and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.Support operational planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring to strengthen the division’s P&L performance.Coordinate with the Accounting Department to follow up on outstanding payments and assist in debt collection.Ensure that all sales and service activities comply with company policies, standards, and customer requirements.Reporting & CoordinationPrepare and submit weekly activity reports, monthly sales forecasts, and project updates to the Direct report.Collaborate effectively with internal teams such as Technical, Quality Control, and Production to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.Undertake additional tasks and special assignments as directed by the Direct report.Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Civil Engineering , or related field.Minimum 3 years of sales experience , preferably in construction chemicals or concrete additives .Good understanding of concrete admixture technology and testing.Experience dealing with ready-mix concrete (RMC) producers will be an advantage.Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office .Fluent in spoken and written English .Willing to travel as required.
