Square X's industry-first Browser Detection and Response (BDR) solution empowers organizations to proactively defend against browser-native threats including rogue AI agents, Last Mile Reassembly Attacks, malicious extensions and identity attacks. Unlike dedicated enterprise browsers, Square X seamlessly integrates with users' existing consumer browsers, delivering security without compromising user experience.

We're looking for a Technical Writer who can translate complex browser security concepts into clear, compelling documentation. You'll be the bridge between our engineering team and our users—creating everything from API documentation and integration guides to security best practices and threat intelligence content.

Responsibilities :

Create comprehensive technical documentation for Square X's Browser Detection and Response (BDR) platform, including API references, integration guides, and deployment documentation

Develop security content explaining browser-native threats like rogue AI agents, Last Mile Reassembly Attacks, malicious extensions, and identity attacks for both technical and non-technical audiences

Write knowledge base articles that help CISOs, SOC analysts, and security teams understand and respond to browser threats

Produce compliance documentation covering multi-jurisdictional requirements and security frameworks

Collaborate with engineering to document new threat capabilities, security features, and product updates

Maintain and update existing documentation based on product changes, emerging threats, and user feedback

Create visual aids like threat diagrams, attack flow charts, and architecture illustrations to enhance technical content

What We're Looking For

Required :

3+ years of technical writing experience, preferably in cybersecurity, Saa S, or developer tools

Strong understanding of security concepts—or the ability to learn them quickly

Experience writing API documentation and developer-focused content

Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely

Excellent command of English grammar and technical writing standards

Familiarity with documentation tools (Markdown, Git, docs-as-code workflows)

Bonus Points :

Background in cybersecurity, browser security, or enterprise security products

Experience with security compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR)

Understanding of browser technologies, Java Script, APIs, or web security

Experience creating video tutorials or interactive documentation

Previous work in a fast-paced startup environment

Familiarity with threat intelligence or security research writing
