Job Summary
BDO is seeking a capable staff accountant to support F&A service delivery operations for identified engagements at BDO RISE. The OF&A Associate is responsible for accounting transaction processing for the Business Services and Outsourcing group. The successful candidate will manage assigned work responsibilities effectively; work efficiently under pressure, meet all deadlines and be a strong team player.
Job Duties
Job Responsibilities :
- Perform Accounts Payable activities
- Manage email traffic for error invoices and vendor requests
- Manage both PO and NON-PO invoices
- Two / Three-way matching PO and reconcile invoice lines
- Capture exceptions (correct / add / index missing incorrect information from scan)
- Code invoices and manage any manual approval workflow
- Manage manual entry data requirements for invoice management
- Begin invoice approval workflow
- Manage failed EDI 810s
- Support Vendor Management
- Communicates significant issues to BSO supervisor
- Uses software programs to organize, coordinate, and process transactions using tools that include but are not limited to Allscripts Financial Management, Microsoft Office Suite, Sage Intacct, and Adobe PDF
- Completes all appropriate data entry within client financial systems.
- Interacts with internal team to gain information, documents, and data necessary to complete assigned tasks.
- Complies with all firm policies, standards, and BSO client procedures
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Management requiredExperience :
1-2 yearsSoftware :
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).Allscripts Financial Management, Payables and Allscripts SCM (preferred)Proficiency working with pdf documents.Language :
Excellent English oral and written communication skills required.Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
