Job Description
- Lead the alignment and integration of primary survey data from multiple sources, ensuring consistent formats, coding schemes, and metadata across all datasets.
- Develop and implement ETL processes to ingest, cleanse, harmonize, and consolidate survey data, addressing issues such as variable mapping, missing values, and respondent de-duplication.
- Collaborate closely with data analysts and market research teams to define data integration requirements and resolve data discrepancies and resolve existing issues.
- Establish and maintain data dictionaries, mapping documents, and integration standards to support unified reporting and analytics.
- Monitor and validate the accuracy and completeness of integrated datasets, ensuring traceability from raw survey responses to final analytical datasets.
- Automate routine data alignment and integration tasks using SQL, PowerShell, or ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Informatica).
- Support the transition and integration of survey data to cloud or hybrid data platforms as needed.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified : SQL Server DBA, ETL / Integration Specialist)
Key Skills
Strong experience in SQL Server Database Administration (3+ years), with a focus on data integration and alignment.Proven expertise in developing ETL workflows for survey or market research data (using SSIS, Informatica, or similar tools).Solid understanding of data harmonization, variable mapping, and data quality best practices for survey data.Experience with scripting and automation (T-SQL, PowerShell) for data integration tasks.Familiarity with data standards and metadata management relevant to survey research (e.g., DDI, Triple-S) is a plusExperience Required
