About the Role

Were looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to work directly with customers across multiple sectors, delivering cloud transformation projects in Microsoft Azure . Youll take ownership of designing, deploying, and managing secure, scalable, and automated Azure environments leveraging infrastructure as code (IaC), CI / CD, and DevOps best practices. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on Azure experience and a passion for automation, cloud security, and architectural excellence. Youll play a key part in helping customers modernize their infrastructure while ensuring compliance with best practice frameworks such as the Azure Well-Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Azure resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent automation frameworks.
• Build and manage CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions to automate resource deployment and configuration across customer environments.
• Take technical ownership of project delivery, ensuring timely, high-quality implementations.
• Align all deployment activities with Azure Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework best practices.
• Optimise future deployments by developing reusable templates aligned with Enterprise-Scale Landing Zones, secure configurations, and governance standards.
• Ensure all deployments adhere to security best practices and compliance standards, including NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks, and Zero Trust principles.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and customers to translate business needs into reliable, automated cloud infrastructure.
• Support post-deployment validation, monitoring, and performance tuning of Azure environments.
