Systems Administrator II (Windows)

Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft Windows Server OS environments includingand 2025 ensuring reliability scalability and high availability.
• Manage and maintain Active Directory environments including multi-domain forests sites replication and Group Policy along with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) integration.
• Configure manage and secure Microsoft 365 services such as SharePoint Online OneDrive Teams.
• Use Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM) including SCCM Intune and Autopilot for provisioning managing and enforcing compliance on endpoints.
• Automate repetitive administrative tasks using PowerShell Azure Automation and Desired State Configuration (DSC).
• Monitor system health and performance using SolarWinds Nagios Azure Monitor and integrate alerts into ITSM platforms.
• Support Microsoft Hyper-V for virtual infrastructure including provisioning clustering and disaster recovery.
• Manage patching and vulnerability remediation with tools like SCCM ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus WSUS and Intune Update Management.
• Maintain thorough technical documentation SOPs configuration baselines and architectural diagrams.
• Participate in an on-call support rotation and be available to perform planned maintenance during evenings or weekends as required.

Education & Experience

Education : Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.

Experience : Minimum 68 years of hands-on experience in Windows systems administration in a medium to large enterprise environment.
