Teamware Solutions is seeking a skilled and dedicated Linux System Administrator / Engineer with expertise in Red Hat Linux environments. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation, stability, and security of our Linux-based systems.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• System Administration & Management : Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers, both physical and virtual, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Monitoring & Performance Tuning : Implement and manage system monitoring tools to proactively identify issues, perform performance tuning, and conduct capacity planning for Linux environments.
• Security & Compliance : Manage user accounts, permissions, and security configurations. Ensure adherence to security best practices, corporate policies, and industry standards within the RHEL infrastructure.
• Patching & Updates : Plan and execute regular system patching, updates, and upgrades to maintain system health and security posture.
• Troubleshooting & Support : Provide expert-level analysis and troubleshooting for complex operating system issues, network connectivity problems, and application-related issues on Red Hat Linux.
• Automation : Develop and implement automation scripts (e.g., using Bash, Python, Ansible) for routine administrative tasks, deployments, and system configurations to enhance efficiency.
• Backup & Recovery : Implement and manage robust backup and disaster recovery solutions for Linux systems and critical data.
• Collaboration : Work closely with development teams, network engineers, and other IT departments to support application deployments, resolve cross-functional issues, and ensure seamless operations.
• Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
