Role Overview
As an Interior Designer , you will play a key role in helping customers visualize and select the right décor solutions for their space. Your focus will be on creating accurate mockups, preparing catalogs, assisting the sales team with design guidance, and coordinating the design-to-installation journey.
Client-facing interactions will be required only for key B2B clients or large-scale projects , where design consultations or walkthroughs may be necessary.
This role combines design expertise, project coordination, and modern AI-assisted workflows.
Key Responsibilities Design Consultation (Only When Required for Larger Clients)
- Interact with major B2B or high-value clients for design walk-throughs, presentations, or video meetings
- Understand client’s space, functional needs, and design direction.
Design Visualization & Mockup Creation
Create mockups, 2D layouts, and simple 3D views to help clients visualize wallpapers, vertical gardens, 3D panels, and other MIT products.Prepare design catalogues, mood boards, and theme-based collections using our best-selling products.Ensure accuracy in measurements while preparing design previews.AI Tools & Design Automation
Use AI-based tools (image clean-up, mockup generation, visualization tools, etc.) to speed up design workflow.Basic understanding of AI prompts (ChatGPT, image generators, etc.) is a plus.Learn and adapt to MIT’s AI-driven workflow for repetitive design tasks.Project Coordination
Work closely with the sales, operations, and installation teams to ensure smooth execution.Share quotations, track approvals, and assist in converting design selections into confirmed orders.Manage the design-to-installation lifecycle for each assigned project—acting as both design manager and project coordinator.Documentation & Workflow Management
Maintain project notes, revisions, measurements, and client feedback clearly.Follow internal SOPs for sharing designs, approvals, production handovers, and installation coordination.Ensure all designs meet MIT’s quality and brand standards.Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree / diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field .Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva , and basic 2D / 3D tools.Familiarity with AI-based design tools preferredCoral-Draw is good to haveStrong sense of color, spatial planning, materials, and aesthetics.Quick mockup creation ability with attention to detail.Excellent coordination and communication skills (client-facing only as needed).Ability to manage multiple design projects in a fast-paced environment.What We Offer
