Project Role : Database Administrator

Project Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup / recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Summary : As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for administering, developing, testing, and demonstrating databases. A typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, as well as performing backup and recovery tasks. You will also engage in configuration management and provide support for database management systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across various teams and clients. Roles & Responsibilities : - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation / contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the installation and configuration of database management systems. - Monitor database performance and implement necessary optimizations. Professional & Technical Skills : - Must To Have Skills : Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration. - Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices. - Experience with backup and recovery strategies for database systems. - Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques. - Knowledge of SQL and PL / SQL for database querying and scripting. Additional Information : - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
