Structural Analysis and Assessment
- Lead and deliver structural analyses including in-place, seismic, pushover, and fatigue assessments for fixed offshore jacket structures
- Develop and maintain Bases of Assessment documents for offshore platforms
- Manage and update offshore platform weight databases and publish Annual Weight Analysis reports
- Maintain and future-proof offshore platform structural computer models
- Develop and update Load Plan Master documents reflecting operational live loads on topside deck areas
Integrity and Risk Management
Support regional deployed engineers in delivering structural integrity management plans aligned with company and industry standardsLead structural risk management efforts to ensure risks are understood, controlled, and mitigated effectivelyApprove platform modifications and associated weight changes, maintaining as-designed and as-is structural modelsSupport severe weather evacuation planning and post-event inspections (storms, seismic, ship impacts)Collaboration and Leadership
Provide visible safety leadership following bp safety principles and promote safety culture within the teamSupport development and mentoring of junior engineers, helping them achieve professional certificationsParticipate actively in the offshore structures Community of Practice (CoP) to share best practices and standard methodologiesCollaborate with central engineering teams to ensure consistency across regionsPerformance and Continuous Improvement
Record and incorporate operational learnings into local practices and proceduresSupport performance management through KPI implementation, measurement, and analysisDrive continuous improvement initiatives for structural engineering processesWhat You Will Need to Be Successful
