Role Overview :

KPMG India is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning and Policy expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and implementing state / central government policies, rules, and regulatory-related tasks, project appraisals, and project costing.

Key Responsibilities :

• Project Finance : Structure and manage the financing for large infrastructure projects, including debt and equity funding.
• Government Project Finance : Focus on financing and managing infrastructure projects undertaken by government entities.
• Credit Appraisal : Evaluate the creditworthiness of infrastructure projects and their sponsors, ensuring the financial viability of the project and the borrower.
• Risk Assessment : Identify and analyze the risks associated with infrastructure projects, such as construction delays, operational risks, and regulatory risks.
• Financial Modeling : Develop and analyze financial models to assess the financial feasibility of infrastructure projects, including cash flow forecasting and debt capacity analysis.
• Project Advisory : Provide financial advice to governments, project developers, and investors on the financing and structuring of infrastructure projects.
• Fund Raising : Secure funding for infrastructure projects through various sources, such as debt, equity, and government grants.
