Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, development, testing, and implementation of SAP ABAP solutions.
  • Develop and enhance ABAP programs including reports (classical & ALV), dialog programming, smart forms, OOPS ABAP, RFCs, and workflows.
  • Perform data migration and uploads using BDC and LSMW, ensuring accuracy and performance optimization.
  • Conduct ABAP debugging, performance tuning, runtime analysis, SQL trace for efficient program execution.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into high-quality technical specifications and deliverables.
  • Prepare and review technical specifications, business documents, and testing documents.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in workflows, reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
  • Support ECC 6.0 systems with an understanding of migration processes to S / 4HANA.
  • Manage multiple deliverables in parallel while ensuring quality and timeliness.

Skills & Expertise Required :

  • Strong proficiency in ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, ALV Reports, OOPS ABAP, Smart Forms, and Dialog Programming.
  • Expertise in RFC development, batch scheduling, and workflow troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience in data migration techniques (BDC, LSMW) and database design.
  • Deep knowledge of ABAP debugging tools, performance optimization, SQL Trace, and runtime analysis.
  • Strong system analysis and design capability with end-to-end implementation experience.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, multitask, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
