Job description5+ years of experience in Magento 2 frontend development. Strong knowledge of Magento 2 theming, Knockout.js, RequireJS, LESS, and UI Components . Hands-on experience with Hyvä Theme and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Alpine.js, or Vue.js). Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery , and responsive web design principles. Experience with REST / GraphQL API integration. Familiarity with Git or other version control systems. Experience in cross-browser testing , performance optimization , and SEO-friendly frontend development . Strong understanding of UI / UX principles and attention to detail. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Experience with Magento PWA Studio or Headless Magento architecture . Familiarity with Adobe Commerce Cloud . Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and automated deployment tools . Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments. Adobe Certified Expert – Magento Front-End Developer certification is a plus.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Magento Frontend Developer to join our eCommerce team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Magento 2 frontend development , including Hyvä, Luma, or custom theme implementations. You’ll collaborate with backend developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-performing, user-friendly, and responsive Magento storefronts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement responsive Magento 2 frontend themes using Hyva, React, or custom frameworks.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow between frontend and backend systems.
- Optimize website performance, scalability, and responsiveness across devices and browsers.
- Customize Magento layouts, templates, and UI components based on design mockups and business requirements.
- Work with modern frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, React, Alpine.js, and Tailwind CSS .
- Troubleshoot and resolve frontend-related issues, ensuring high-quality user experiences.
- Ensure compliance with Magento coding standards, accessibility guidelines, and SEO best practices .
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and cross-functional team meetings.
