Job Title: US Accountant (Real Estate)

Location: Ahmedabad

Shift Timing: 2 PM – 11 PM IST (Monday – Friday)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Property Accountant with hands-on experience in Yardi software and a strong background in property management accounting. The ideal candidate should have prior exposure to US accounting processes, including Accounts Payable, invoice processing, and financial reporting for property portfolios.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely processing of transactions, and supporting the accounting cycle for assigned properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for assigned real estate properties.

• Record and reconcile financial transactions using Yardi property management software.

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) process invoices, verify vendor details, and ensure timely payments.

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews.

• Prepare and review property-level financial statements and supporting schedules.

• Ensure accurate coding of invoices and compliance with accounting standards.

• Collaborate with the US accounting team to resolve discrepancies and meet reporting deadlines. • Assist in budget preparation, accrual entries, and variance analysis.

• Maintain documentation for audits and internal reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 2-6 years of experience in Property Accounting, preferably supporting US real estate clients.

• Proficiency in Yardi Voyager or similar property management accounting software.

• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and invoice processing workflows.

• Experience with US GAAP and month-end closing procedures.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional and US based teams.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a Real Estate / Property Management company.

• Working knowledge of Excel and financial reporting tools.
